THE SHELL (POEM)

Timid of darkness, brave in the light willing to change, if the day stays bright. Echo’s abounding, where I dwell, dare I go look, leaving my shell. Passions arise deep from within can they be vented, is it a sin? When fear comes a calling, silent and swift, without any warning, the mood does shift.
